Just finished this four part mini-series on the five, wrongly convicted juveniles in the sexual assault and battery of the Central Park jogger. It is some powerful television and has some exceptional acting. A handful of people seem to be trying to turn this into some sort of anti-Trump missive, however, although he is briefly featured in the five to six-hour series, it is mostly to establish the mood of the city and reaction to the crimes. The story is mostly about the five wrongfully accused and convicted, with the last episode mostly focused on the only teenager that ended up in an adult prison. This show should make the blood of most boil and it depicts the authorities clearly pushing to have the outcome fit their theories rather than the evidence prove the crime. To me, I can't fathom how the investigators and prosecutors made the arrests and obtained the convictions that they did, nor do I understand how they jumped from the crime to even linking these five to the crime with the information that is provided in the series.
