Great observation. As for DB's music not being available on streaming sites -
that might be a regional thing for you - as when I just rechecked Google music
- Bedtime Stories, Triage, Here Comes.., and Sensible Shoes! were all there.
That would encompass David's official catalog (minus the Sensible Shoes which
I assume DB wouldn't necessarily approve of). A Fine Mess was an indie
release and his several albums of Bluegrass/Folk on the A-Tone label can be
found (and streamed) on the extrememusic.com website. But to your larger
point - why does it seem that DB's music is hard to find (or hard to track his
every influence/participation)? Well...that's one of the original purposes of
this site. Granted - the discog section could use an update - but it's at
least a jumping off point. And secondly - David is a terrible self promoter.
Frustratingly so for some. I'm sure others will chime in - but that's my
brief take.Dan
