We'd have all been better served had Barr simply said, "I've got a lot of stuff to sort through and it's going to take some time." (Not that I trust Barr to do the right thing.) That didn't happen and now we're left with conservative media shouting from the hilltops that they were right all along. That's all their listeners need to hear. It matters little or not at all to them that there was/is likely a lot of proof and a lot of evidence to support the concerns that brought about the investigation. And they're wrongly pissed at Democrats for the entire thing, not realizing that it was Republicans who initiated the probe with Dems happy to sign on to it.
