Pat,If you genuinely hold the views that you espouse, then you have sadly been shortchanged in some many
areas. I know, you don't believe me, and I get that don't, but you honestly have a warped view of many things.
But it's not too late. Pick up a copy of The Economist, the WSJ, and yes, check out the NYT of WAPO. Read
the tweets of Republican David Frum and Ann Applebaum. Of course, stay with your information-starved diet
of Fox News and whatever conservative on-line resources you go to, but try, try to have an open mind and
see how your sources square with these other perspectives. If you're honest, you'll be shocked and how the
truth of many important issues has been withheld from you.Heathcliff is a very wise gent, and it comes through in all of his posts. His assessment of Mr. Mueller, from
everything that I've read, is totally accurate. Was the raid over the top, yeah, but Roger Stone, as the uber
over the top political operative, would probably have felt slighted if he didn't have this SWAT style raid and all
the attendant mega media attention. He positively lives for this shit.I do hope you can grow intellectually, Pat. You'll be a better, more informed person. You'll live a richer, more
significant life. You will then spread wisdom, yes, wisdom to your loved ones. And to coincide with the
offerings above, check out Youtube videos of Steven Pinker, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, David Frum,
Andrew Sullivan, Ann Applebaum, Masha Gessen, Robert Sapolsky, Eric and Bret Weinstein, Jordan Peterson,
Anthony Cordesman, Jonathan Haidt, John Rawls, Tristan Harris, Maajid Nawaz, Fareed Zakaria. And I have
many more recommendations. These folks are big thinkers and I want to hear their thoughts on everything
under the sun, and you should too! And then you can send me some names. It's a world of ideas out there, so
much more interesting than the weather or how the local sports team is doing. Leave your intellectual and idealogical comfort zones. Flex your mind, Pat. You CAN DO IT!Peter T.
