I have always leaned toward resignation. There are reasons for it to end
this way. The biggest being NOBODY WANTS TRUMP TO EVER HAVE TO SPEAK
UNDER OATH...NOBODY. Well, except those of us that really don't like Trump but everybody in
Washington is looking to avoid having this idiot babble while he is under
oath. It would be a helluva show but the problem is he may say just about
anything and try to throw just about anybody under the bus. Also if Trump resigns he would probably do so with a deal that Pence
pardons him of all federal crimes immediately. They may prosecute Trump once he is no longer president which would
create a situation where he would be asked to testify but pretty sure
there is not a lawyer alive that would not attempt to make him take the
fifth. In fact I could see Republicans creating a legal defense fund for
him if he agreed to never testify about anything...ever. There is always the question of how you get a man that will never shut up
to actually shut up and the rumor is that Donald Trump Jr. is pondering
fleeing the country soon in hopes of never returning...maybe dad does the
same once he leaves office. The big problem with impeachment is the Democrats really don't want to be
the ones to do it. They want the Republicans to do it. Pelosi won't call
for impeachment...she has said the Republicans would need to ask her to
impeach. Will they? Well, I have a feeling Pelosi wants to drag out Trump
remaining president until we get closer to 2020. Donald is pure poison
for Republicans and letting him stay as new investigations open,
subpoenas fly, and more horrible things fall out of Trump's criminal
closet is a gold mine for Democrats. Why rush getting rid of him when you can ride all of his crimes to
winning back the presidency and probably the Senate?Pelosi loves Trump like Republicans loved Clinton. Having somebody that
so many people hate around is just so good for your party...only in this
case Trump really has committed so many crimes he can't keep track of
them. So, Trump out-Clintons Hillary! There is no way in hell Trump can get reelected to another term. I think
there is no way in hell he wants another term. Being president has just
exposed all of his criminal activity. Why would he want 4 more years of
that?I think he will resign the presidency before the end of 2019 probably
with some sort of deal with Pence giving him a pardon.
