The Republicans want to strip out of the ACA the requirement that you must
cover people with preexisting conditions. This is your real "death panel" when the Republicans and Trump
administration send lawyers into court to fight to remove covering
preexisting conditions from the Affordable Care Act. They have been doing
this for some time. Why do they do this? Because if insurance companies can deny coverage to
people with preexisting conditions they have to pay out less in
claims...costing them less...and so they will then allow a lower cost for
healthcare coverage. The whole idea is to allow insurance companies to
dictate who they cover, when, and how much. So, in this twisted method you
can pay for healthcare coverage but the insurance company can deny giving
you any at their discretion. So, "We'll pay for cheap stuff but if you get
really sick, see ya, go die somewhere and reduce the surplus population."This is not difficult stuff. Why would anybody vote for this mayhem? This problem has been solved in other countries and Massachusetts adopted
the ACA standard when it was better known as Romneycare and while it was
never perfect it provides coverage to more people which is the whole idea.
