1) With what percent of confidence do you think Kavanaugh will get the
votes in the Senate? (Me - No 100 %.)Well, I can only say right now he does not have the votes but you have to
rely on Republicans not voting for him. The agreement to the supplemental
FBI background check is a confirmation of the fact they do not have the
votes right now. Here's the the thing I think is most worrisome. George
W. Bush has been making calls to Republicans advocating that they support
Kavanaugh. This is not good because he has been talking with Susan
Collins the Republican Senator from Maine that through this debacle has
been one of the "No" votes required to stop "Weepy Brett" from getting
confirmed. Now, this is not good. The Bush family may not be well thought
of in a lot of places in this country but they are LOVED in Maine. I mean
absolutely loved. So, Dubya does have considerable pull with Collins. If
Collins falls into line and votes "Yes" on Kavanaugh then likely so will
Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. Then we are in trouble. Nothing is certain here
and we are talking about a very small number of votes that could swing
this either way and if it is a tie, then Mike Pence will break the tie by
voting "Yes" on "Weepy Brett." Now, I hope that along with this new investigation of the allegations
against Kavanaugh that the media and Democrats use this week to point out
what a goddamn travesty Kavanaugh's behavior and statements were on
Friday...because that was not just a joke, and made him look more guilty,
but showed him to not be fit to sit on the Supreme Court. On top of which
his crazed ranting showed him to be a conspiracy nut of Alex Jones
proportions. Remember he OPENLY expressed his hatred and bias against
Democrats. Supreme Court judges are meant to be impartial to all citizens
regardless of their political affiliation...Kavanaugh admitted he is
not...and he OPENLY politicized the court and tainted his future rulings
in his rantings. Meaning, he should be done...period...based on that
insane display. The problem is as crap a candidate for the court as "Weepy Brett" is the
Republicans want to get a judge confirmed BEFORE the midterm election.
So, a good number of Republicans would vote for ANYBODY even if they were
a proven cannibal serial killer. It does not matter to them so even if
the FBI comes back saying "Yes, there is solid information that these
allegations are true and accurate plus we uncovered that Kavanaugh did
run a gang rape club." a group of Republicans will say "So what?" and
vote for him anyway.
2) With what percent of confidence do you think, that with 39 days left
until the midterms, it is possible that the shit show put on by the
Rethugican's Judiciary Farce, will flip both the House and the Senate?
(Me House - yes 100%, Senate - No 70 % confidence)What you are dealing with here, I believe, are voters that have already
decided. So, maybe there are Republican voting women that will change
their vote to Democrat based on that sad show by the Judiciary Committee
but I would not expect that there are a lot of them. If they switched
sides they probably did so prior to that mess. We will see how much
messier it gets in the coming week and if the investigation creates a
worse picture of Kavanaugh but the problem is these slimy Senators that
have ALREADY decided that no matter what the investigation turns up they
are voting "Yes" on "Blubbering Brett."Let me say this too, many voters that support Republican candidates are
likely paying very little attention to this Kavanaugh "job interview" but
if they were and thought about if they would want a person they were
interviewing for a job to act the way Kavanaugh did on
Friday...well...they would obviously say "No, I would not hire that guy."I mean come on, if a guy went nuts like that in an interview I certainly
would not hire him.
3) With what percent of confidence do you think Kavanaugh will ever be
charged with ANY crime (to include but not limited to, perjury from past
testimony, attempted rape, holding someone against their will (kidnapping
or false imprisonment), obstruction of justice, etc.? (Me 80% No)This is the easiest question because Kavanaugh is not under criminal
investigation and so will not be charged with a crime. The victims are
not bringing charges against him so there is nothing to charge him with.
This is really just a "job interview" and so all that will happen here is
the Senators will make a decision on if they think this guy is fit for
the job. I think his crazed breakdown on Friday alone should disqualify him. I
would not hire that guy to operate a hot dog stand.
