Doesn't it sound far too benign, almost like something high school pranksters would engage in? I'm not sure
what would suffice, even "the willful undermining of our democracy by Russia" seems to lack the proper level
of national outrage.I felt similarly when so many Catholic priests were found to be "molesting" children. "Molesting" seemed far
removed from the despicable, graphic, sustained, and institutionalized violence that was forced upon
thousands of children. Words matter, and too often we aren't precise enough when using them.Peter T.
