Well, I think the thing is that not only is that entire list of people
the type of people that "Trump voters" have no interest in listening to,
the entire concept of having anybody that is any sort of "leader, expert,
scientist" or possibly a person with vast knowledge of a problem or
problems that face us as a country or planet talk to Trump
supporters is pretty much pointless.
Sadly, they just don't care about facts or data or truth. They care
about
slogans, empty promises, and lies that say things they like.
If this were not true they would be furious about Trump's "trade war"
and
tariffs which will cost them money and cost America jobs. They would be
up in arms about Trump destroying the Consumer Financial Protection
Bureau which returned billions of dollars to people that had been scammed
by predatory lenders. They would be enraged by the horrific tax bill that
was passed that will INTENTIONALLY skyrocket our deficit...something guys
like Paul Ryan claimed to be completely opposed to and now the
Republicans claim the debt does not matter. This will lead to another
economic crash that will again hit middle class/working Americans the
hardest. They would hate the idea that Trump is destroying the EPA,
attacking our justice system, removing regulations meant to keep Wall
Street in check that will lead to them being able to repeat the kind of
gambling that led to Americans giving them a trillion dollar bailout
that we had nothing to do with them needing...it was the victims paying
the people that raped them. Trump pushing our allies away from the table
while embracing dictators that prefer fascism...Russia, China, Turkey,
Poland, North Korea, the Philippines...these are the places where Trump
likes the way they operate. He wants to align with them. Trump likes the
rising tide of fascism in Italy...

You want some nasty truth...
Polls show that Republican voters with a positive opinion of Vladimir
Putin have tripled under Trump. Seriously.
I could go on but the point is these people are living in some sort
of
alternate reality.
They believe that illegal immigration from Mexico is one of our biggest
issues...it's not even close. The facts are American companies have sent
so many jobs to Mexico that Mexicans leaving this country outnumber the
ones coming here in the millions and this has been going on for years.
They believe that Democrats are "coming for their guns" which is a
complete joke. They think the 2nd Amendment is under attack...it's not.
We have more guns and more access to guns than anybody on the planet.
There is no concern that people will have their guns taken away. That's a
fantasy.
These ideas though are sold to them again and again and so they
believe
them. They believe government regulations designed to protect them are
government controlling their lives. It's a joke.
They do not realize, or understand, or they just block out that they
are
being lied to again and again and again.
Having people they see as "elites" speak to them in a commercial
would be
completely ignored, I think.
The commercial we maybe should make is one filled with people from
the
states that narrowly gave Trump his victory. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan
or any state that went to Trump. Show them talking about what has
happened to them under Trump because it will not be good...and those
voices might get through to them because that will be like looking in a
mirror.
He left them their guns, took away their health insurance, raised
prices
on the goods they buy through an absolutely idiotic trade war, cost them
jobs, buried the country in debt, and lied and lied and lied to them over
and over...all while enriching himself, his friends, and our enemies like
Putin.
That is their voice. That is their story. That is their truth. It
will
take some time before they see it...but it will eventually dawn on them.
Probably when it is too late but it will happen.
