I may have let on in the past my affection for girls with guitar bands (even better if there's a synth hidden somewhere!) - and this astist - Lauren Hoffman - was in that group of artists early on I gravitated to. Now mind you - this was 20+ years ago. So - being the 20th aniv of her major label release (I know I said indie - she bought out her contract soon after this release) - Lauren is releasing it on vinyl. She tracked down someone who does straight from tape to vinyl mastering - so nothing went in the scary digital realm. I admire her attention to detail on this. Anyway - there's a pledge music (like kickstarter) drive for this - I think $25 gets the vinyl. The album itself was produced by the guys from Cracker who lent guitar and other mechanizations as well. Here's a link to the pledge page - and below that the promo video for the release of Megiddo.
