This country and its gun fetish and ties to masculinity makes me sick.

The waste we see from America and its idiotic, pathological insecurity and illogical need for guns is disgusting.

But what is even more disgusting is how NO ONE with the ability to do a goddamned thing has the spine to do so.

Of course, mental illness and violent outbursts, most likely what just happened in Las Vegas are somewhat red herrings, but there are some common sense things that can be done.

For example, why do average Americans need any magazine with a capacity for more than ten cartridges?

Or why are straw purchases still allowed (where a person can go and buy numerous guns at once over and over again).

And if a background check only stops one out of one hundred people from buying a firearm when the person should not have been able to buy one, so what? We should just be happy that that one person was stopped.

We should also demand that crimes of violence MUST take precedence over all other crimes and quit wasting resources on non-violent crimes. Illegal gun crimes should be right up there, too.

Also, those that use idiotic spurious gun arguments (like using Chicago because Chicago has such a high gun crime rate along with having the most restrictive gun laws when the guns are brought in from elsewhere) should be tarred and feathered for mucking up the water with bullshit arguments.

There are others. It's just too bad those that could make change lack the spine.....and will most likely never find it...
