I think it was 1978, I saw Willy/Mink DeVille open for Nick Lowe, who was kind enough to open for Elvis
Costello and The Attractions. It was at Boston's Orpheum. Hell of a triple bill. Mixed Up Shook Up Girl was
a great Willy song! As I recall, Cadillac Walk also really worked for me. Never really paid too much attention
to him but I fondly recall those tunes! And you might too! Another thing about that night, Geraldo Rivera
was out front doing interviews for a piece on EC as he was just making his magnificence known in the
states. Elvis was never so good as when he couldn't get a date with a woman! Success took the bite and
the spite out of him, at least to my ears!Peter T.
