That was one of the best written articles I've seen (not bad for a foreign correspondent) especially here in America where our press seems to be insane now and should know better. I didn't see too much bias ether way and also could not dispute what was written. So I would give that author kudos for writing an article that should be considered fair by anyone.

It misses a lot though. I mean it only touches on the surface (and pretty accurately) but there was so much more to look at. I also understand that the author's audience might not spend a lot of time to read a novel.

But again, the author gets a lot, condensed it very well...fairly accurate...seemed pretty unbiased. In other words the way a newspaper journalist should be.

Sadly our own journalists became unhinged after the Trump election and went off the rails. They are ridiculous. They are breaking every single rule they learned in Journalism school and it is funny as hell right now.

I want you in particular to know though that the people that vote Trump in (includes me as well) will ALWAYS support our best allies and you know who we are talking about. We believe Obama was soft on both (he had a great speech writer for his farewell though no?) but you know we got your back.

I am more than willing to tell you what really happened in America that upended the democrat party and am also willing to tell you why the bulk of us that did it also supported brexit in a big way. And for you as a very long time and loyal member here. I'll go go way deeper than your author could but that story was the way you do it in a few paragraphs and was pretty fair IMO
