Sometimes I feel it is better if I push away from the table for a while.

I find it hard to call anything in this election cycle the "best" unless you are in the media and then this has been one of the "best" for ratings and enraging the public.

That part has worked out wonderfully for them. They have most of the country feeling like it is the end of the world no matter which of these pieces of garbage gets elected.

Hooray for their team.

In terms of what has been revealed about "My team" politics...I would say what has been primarily revealed is that it is utterly meaningless to be a Democrat or a Republican...and being an independent just means you have no say in what is going on.

Let's face it, man, there is no line of demarcation between Republicans and Democrats any longer.

All gone. Erased.

So, rather than having two parties we just have the Republicrats or Democricans. Not the people that vote that spend their time worrying about if they are red or blue...I mean the elected clowns and their party running nitwits.

This has basically been the gift of the Clintons to the people. Their great sin has always been their goal to pull the party to the right, to embrace all the big money interests normally thought to be supporting Republican candidates and to destroy the Republican party by basically turning the Democrats into the Republican party. I personally think this is one of the HUGE reasons a lot Republicans have hated the Clintons for so long...they basically could not stand that the Clintons were essentially working to erase them by becoming them.

And guess what...IT WORKED!

It has not all been accomplished by the Clintons...the Republicans have drove their party off a cliff. I mean they embraced the Christian Right, and then the Tea Party clowns, and Karl Rove and his ilk. I mean the Clintons could not have succeeded without a gigantic assist from the Republicans.

While the Republicans were utterly screwing themselves the Clintons went out and told every pedophile billionaire, every Wall Street gambler, every banker with a wallet so fat they could not sit down, every Big Energy magnate, every foreign prince or king or dictator, sweatshop lord, or anybody with a private jet and massive expense account and the ability to give themselves a multi-million dollar bonus at least once a year, that THEY FUCKING LOVED THEM AND WOULD SUCK PARTS OF THEIR BODIES THEY DID NOT EVEN KNOW THEY HAD IF THEY JUST GAVE THEM SOME CASH.

Give it to the party, give it to the foundation, pay me or my husband or my daughter or one of our pals for a speaking engagement and ask for any damn favor you want.

While at the same time they could whisper in their ear "Look at those fuck-up Republicans. You don't want to get involved with that shit and the nitwits they are attempting to mobilize. Hell, we don't care what you do, fuck children, feed them to the lions for entertainment, rape, steal, kill your fellow countrymen...WE DON'T CARE AS LONG AS YOU COME THROUGH WITH THE CASH!"

And the sad part is...the Democrats bought in because nobody in their party could get 12 million dollars from a foreign prince faster than somebody whose last name is Clinton.

Jimmy Carter was the last Democrat to occupy the White House. He was labeled a failure, one term loser.

Now we just have the Clintocrats...puking, pissing, and shitting all over everything.

The Republicans have no recourse except to join the team. Their party is done and Donald Trump made sure to drop an atomic bomb on it. I think Trump hates Republicans more than anybody.

He is certainly no Republican. He is also no Christian, no fan of women, minorities, or anybody whose last name is not Trump.

So, when Dan, Peter, and I sat down over the summer in a restaurant and talked about this stuff my big question to them had nothing to do with who was going to win this election...it was what happens now that we are a one party country?

I mean sure Republicans will still win state elections and the 30% of the country that really thinks Donald would build a wall, make Mexico pay for it, and that illegal immigrants and Muslims are pouring into the country to rape, kill, live for free, and terrorize us will still likely be with us for a while...but...one thing we do know is that they are not likely to win any national elections without a MAJOR overhaul of their party.

So, here we are...all one big happy family. Big name Republicans and big money Republican backers all voting along with the "I'm with Her" crowd for Hillary...isn't unity wonderful?
