Icon 3 DBIS Veterans Walk Into A Bar...

Okay, it wasn't a bar, it was a seafood restaurant, but beer was drunk, chowder was eaten, music and politics were discussed, and best of all, no blood was spilled. It was a whirlwind day that began at Boston's venerable Fenway Park where I finally had the pleasure of meeting up with DBIS founder, Dan the Man. A more genial fellow and all around mensch you won't find. When he's not traveling to far flung cities to meet fellow DBIS members, he's sampling the finest in exotic coffees, keeping this message board afloat, and tending to the health of his young patients. Do you sleep, Dan? We had 7 hours of endless discussions covering everything under the sun. We touched upon past and present DBIS posters (raise a toast to Kyle and Kent)! We tooled around Boston and Cambridge, dodging rush hour traffic. And then, drum roll please, we hooked up with that International Man of Mystery, Reg, and kept the conversation going for another 5 hours. Reg, ever the raconteur, has somehow retained those boyish good looks that he first displayed over a decade ago when The New Folk Underground made it to the Boston area. And he was sober this time! Both gentlemen did their best to allay my fears that a Trump victory is in the cards. Fingers crossed! And word has it that a photo will be posted here to memorialize the occasion. Three finer looking male homo sapiens you won't find. And yes, Pat, Dale, and Marc, that's a challenge to you guys! If the DBIS Meet-up Tour comes to your town, get on board!
