Sea Wolf's You're A WolfMerle Haggard's Wishing All These Old Things Were New - Man, I love this song...during the last part of it, Haggard can be heard muttering, "man" in apparent exasperation of wishing old things were new. This hits me because of all the times I'd drink beer with my Dad, he'd take a pull of a beer and say, "Man, that's good!".....
Roy Orbison's Mama - I once read where Orbison's Mom refused to listen to this song because it was so sad and powerful.....Chris Isaak's Notice The RingBuddy Miller's When It Comes To You - just a damn catchy tune....Neil Young's Ramada Inn - This song just makes me think of life, aging and the things we miss...
