Mostly, I feel like I must be losing my mind. I'm pretty certain nobody wants to read this nor do I think it is news. The things these candidates do and say during this primary process are just completely insane and I am more than a little baffled that there are any voters that would believe these people or want what they promise to bring us if they are elected.

Granted, the Republicans this time out are battling not just the dwindling interest the majority of the United States has in their party but also having lost control of their "base" who keep voting for the two guys they most do not want to represent them in the White House, Trump and Cruz. In a truly hilarious turn of events each time they identify a candidate that they want Republicans to vote for...the voters turn on that candidate completely. In fact if you want to be eliminated from the race just get the endorsement of the RNC, first Jeb Bush was the "establishment choice" and the voters basically just set him on fire. Then they back Rubio and he immediately sinks to the bottom of the polls and gets absolutely stomped in his home state by Trump. In other words, the voters once again just flipped off the RNC. Now the RNC is going to back Kasich...who rumor has it they have had to beg to stay in the race as this guy has wanted out since Iowa. Kasich does not strike me as a lunatic and you can openly see that he obviously thinks both Trump and Cruz are and is wondering what the hell he is doing in this mess. Plus, for a guy that is supposedly trying to compete with these clowns he already has stated that he has no shot and nobody will be able to beat Trump. They obviously asked him to stay in so that Trump could not win Ohio and now that he served that purpose I believe the only thing that will keep him in is RNC stooges begging him not to quit because that will leave them with just Trump and Cruz who they find more distasteful than getting caught naked on video tape at a gay orgy snorting cocaine while getting a blowjob from a Wall Street investment banker in a tutu.

Combine all of this with the fact that the Republican candidates are making insane promises like eliminating the Department of Education and the EPA (while Michigan is poisoning their citizens water supply), bringing us bigger, deadlier, more expensive war and bombing parts of the world until they are nothing but a deadly contaminated dust bowl, tearing apart the healthcare system, and of course building a giant wall on our border. Seriously, how are these things selling points to elect them and creating race riots at their rallies is just the cherry on top of this insanity.

Then we have Hillary still pretending to be a Democrat deciding to just totally and completely lie about everything no matter how much evidence is there to show she is absolutely full of shit...and people keep voting for her and giving her glowing endorsements as she stands there and tries to claim everything Bernie Sanders has ever said or done in his career she actually did first.

CNN has turned into the "Destroy Trump and Elect Hillary and please ignore that guy Bernie" network to the extent it is just fucking intolerable to watch. What they should be doing is 24/7 debate over who the bigger fucking liar is Trump or Hillary.

Am I alone in this? I can't read the goddamned newspaper and look at these primary results without turning purple and heading for the liquor cabinet.

For a country that prides itself on our democratic process electing our "leaders" we are putting on a shit flying show of epic proportions.
