Loved it, EEE. Your summary of Spotlight was spot-on! I remember devouring the extraordinary Boston Globe
series on which the film was based. When will humans cease to bow down before religious authorities and
imaginary deities? Probably never! But through education, we can reduce the death grip it exerts on our
psyche and integrity. Just saw The Big Short the other night. Another great film that all should see. Yet the GOP contenders
complain that we have shackled Wall Street with excess regulation! Where is the outrage from the Trump
supporters and their brethren on the right? Better to distract the rubes with fears of a takeover by ISIS and
immigrants than another financial crisis that could really bring us to our knees. I watched Beast of No Nation on Netflix: child armies in Africa, about as heartbreaking a subject as there is,
but it should still be viewed. What a wonderful world! Peter T. And Kathryn, still mulling over Courtney Barnett. A fresh voice for sure, just wish she would "rock out" a bit
more, but I'm all ears.
