Re: Why
I was there, with my neighbor Jeff, Peter, Reg and a couple other DBIS-ers whose names I can no longer remember. I do remember us all sitting back stage with DB before he went on, talking about this and that. I believe someone bought him a scotch. I also remember;
1) the band mucking up the start of "Silver and Gold". David then procedes to stop playing and announce "Wrong song!"
2) David telling a couple of chatty girls to speak up so we can all hear what they were talking about.
3) Helping DB with the load out after the show and getting paid with a NFU t-shirt which was WAY too small for me.
4) Sitting on DB's tour bus after the load out and enjoying some herb.
5) David thinking my friend Jeff was Dan and, as a thank you for his work on this board, trying to give him the original copy of those short stories he posted here all those years ago ("An Outrageous Pack of Lies" ??)
6) Getting back home to Maine at 3:30 amGood time, good times.
