I agree this double gun murder was particularly disturbing. And it had
everything to do with its immediacy and relative intimacy as it happened
right there in both the point of view of the murdered and murderer. But if
Sandy Hook didn't teach us we're not a nation doomed to withstand these
events regularly - then nothing will. You had to feel for the father of
the dead young lady - when he said it'd be his life's mission to make some
type of "change". Mass shootings in the US only embolden and further
entrench positions - there is no change that can happen.
Funny though how even talking about the 2nd amendment with a question
mark
is tantamount to treason - while men vying to be President are openly
contemplating the path to abolishing the 14th amendment (and calling
themselves conservatives). Where are the death panel freaks now?
