Icon Upon repeated exposure, he'll implode...

Pat,

Those attributes you describe that exist for Trump might be virtues of a sincere, compassionate person, but for a neurotic, narcissistic person like Trump, they are not and are more like gallons of gasoline to a pyromaniac.

Believe me, I'm no fan of M. Kelly, but from a woman's point of view, the questions I read about that she asked were fair game. And Trump's later tweets, one where he calls her a "bimbo" are very disturbing. On top of that, for those that follow this man while declaring he "speaks his mind" are also troubling.

Here's what I see happening to Trump - in repeated exposure, he is going to render his political aspirations pointless because he is going to shoot off both his feet with his mouth.

But do you really think a person of this nature would be successful for a democracy? Imagine this buffoon in a room of world leaders when he throws one of his tantrums where he takes his ball and goes home when he does not get his way.

Now, if I were a Republican I'd be very worried because of his veiled threats of running a third party campaign.

But like in my OP...I think the sad thing for me is that Trump is a reflection of this current country and where we are headed. In America today it appears a serious debate/discussion about anything is impossible for a variety of reasons and that does not do any of us any good.

Well, for those that benefit from these distractions it does....
