My home PC was hit by the worm currently making the rounds in cybertown. What happens is after about 2-5 minutes after turning on my pc and getting on the web I get a message that states ......whatever and that the pc will shut down and then restart in 1 minute.

I got a response from HP but their solution is so long that I can't complete all of the instructions because my pc keeps shutting down and restarting.

Kent, I know you're our resident Microsoft expert. Any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll even plug your book!!!
