I am pretty much in accord with your thinking, EEE. No great surprise there, sir! When we grew
up, there were so few choices when it came to music availability, radio stations, television shows,
movies, political views, etc. Many things from my youth seemed to be shared, communal
experiences. Today we have unlimited choices and it can be overwhelming and make us yearn for
simpler times. That's probably true for each passing generation. Still, I wouldn't trade today for
yesterday. A case in point, I just finished the British sic-fi series, Black Mirror, on Netflix. Very cool
take on the hold that technology has on us and where it may be heading. A Twilight Zone for
today! My wife and I just saw The Imitation Game. Go see it, pronto! What a powerful, moving tribute to
a man who should be celebrated with a holiday. The wall of bigotry against gays and lesbians has
thankfully been chipped away significantly over the last few years and this should provide more
progress. Happy New Year DBIS. Peter T.
