Johnny Winter, that is. I'd only recently begun listening to JW and it was his late 60s stuff that
caught my ears. Last night he ventured to my favorite local NH club. Anyway, at 69, decades
on the road, and probably more than a bit of substance abuse, have turned him into one very
frail bluesman. His fingers and playing however retain the magic. I'm not a blues fan, nor
much of a blues-rock listener, so after a few songs, there was a certain "sameness" to the
setlist. Still, he ended it with this gem:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yclRjptWlW8Peter T.
