Any family tree researchers around?
I recently (with the single minded purpose of discovering some Irish ancestry) have started researching and compiling a family tree. I've been very fortunate to have already discovered some fascinating (at least in the historical perspective) characters of direct descent - a Gettysburg veteran and a Lt. in the American Revolutionary war...and more than a pub full of Irish relatives (the McCoys of Donegal)!
Anyone else have any interesting stories of family-hood?
