My wife and I enjoyed season one a lot. There were some really brilliant, inspiring moments.
We had a few gripes: the obligatory romantic storyline was a bit much at times; it was hard to
believe that the Jeff Daniels anchorman character was a Republican; and yes, even for us, the
over-the-top left wing slant was annoying at times, but compared to the wasteland that is so
much of television, it was usually entertaining, topical, and often really well written and
acted. Worth a look for most DBIS posters but kryptonite to Marc, Dale, and Pat.
