We have had extremely basic cable for a while now and the other day splashed across the screen was the message that if you want to see this channel, we've upgraded so ya gotta come and get the new receiver. This is for all of the analog channels. Over the last couple of years we have gotten used to the channel line up changing to adding decimals and dashes and never quite knowing what station would end up where in the number spectrum. This time around we discovered (or it just appeared, we never quite know) Palladia, http://www.palladia.tv/. In the last 2 days we have seen The Last Waltz, U2 playing from the top of the BBC, an incredibly incapacitated Amy Winehouse still on her feet performing with a mariachi band, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Jason Mranz at Daryl Hall's house. It has been a very pleasant surprise.
