I hear the pain in your post, EEE. Can't say that I've delved too deeply into this case. I sincerely hope the truth will emerge, and I know that may be a long shot. I fear the ugly media circus will only gain more strength as the months pass, leading to acrimony, suspicion, and possibly more violence.

I don't know what happened that dark night but I do know that when in public, young black males in America live under unfair and intense societal scrutiny. I cannot imagine how that would affect someone's psyche. Nor can I imagine what it's like to live in a neighborhood where there is a high probability of being the victim of random violence.

I do know that introducing a firearm into the equation raises the stakes significantly.
