Ross, my best wishes for you. The sheer joy of reading to my grandchildren feels like a large boost to my immune systm.
Too, ala Norman Cousins and the Marx Bros, for me a couple hours of "The Big Bang Theory" leaves me in a state of euphoria, and sore stomach muscles.
At my age, I have many friends and relatives who've received the same scare you have. Modern medicine--and it is improving all the time--has left many more survivors than not after five years.
