Peter,You hit on something that really worries me and that is the continual deaths of our soliders at a slow place will allow the American people to change their already too short attention span to other TRULY meaningless things. That soon, people will be numb to the news of the death of American soliders in Iraq and go back to their reality tv watching. It makes me ask, where are all the war protesters now? Why aren't they screaming to bring our troops home; to get a real coalition of peace keepers in there now. And to be honest, I think if we do capture/kill Hussein it is not going to matter one bit. That the attacks will continue and we will remain losing soldiers. My thoughts are will all their families and friends.
