You could be right Ed. Mr. Garrett was a much better contributor as a singer with a social conscience than as a politician having to tow the party line.The article is very emotive - I guess it depends on whether you are a climate change believer or sceptic. Australia is a country of extremes and as they allude to, there are parts of it that should never have been colonised. The population generally lives in the milder coastal fringes. Human habitation has led to the degradation of the natural world, but perhaps no more so than in other parts of the world. Our property is ar sea level - we are adjacent to an inlet. John often jokes that we will have to move if the sea level rises, but I suspect it won't happen in our lifetimes. We have had seasons with less rain than average, but thankfully this year is more typical. Who knows?
