Makes sense to me, EEE. As an example, I wonder if Clapton thinks of Derek and the Dominoes when playing Layla for the thousandth time, or even further back, the sessions that brought us that masterpiece with Duane Allman pushing and pushing him to new heights. On second though, nah, his rampant drug use at the time probably renders such recollections impossible. However, when Bruce and the E Street Band next hit the road, you can bet a lot of Clarence memories, particularly during Jungleland, will no doubt come rushing back.
