I didn't actually touch them, but over the course of two hours (plus) I gradually inched my
way to the lip of the stage. This group is powerful, and they're all over 50! They rocked
continuously in a kind of Velvet Underground, extremely edgy way; it was one of those
pleasures that makes one glad to be breathing! The live experience, as we all know, is so
much more intense, spirited, and communal. Yeah, I got home from Cambridge at 1:30 AM,
and I do wish these clubs could start their shows earlier, but it was well worth the sleep
deprivation and hearing loss. New Jersey's The Feelies, headed by Glen Mercer, should be on
your bucket list.Peter T. Here's their newest, it rocks a hell of a lot harder in person:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUAbOMxlxWA
