Interesting what the charges against Assange appear to amount to. Seems when the powers that be array themselves against someone, there is always some sexual charge to be brought up. From what I've read, these charges have to do with one person's claim of "withdrawal of consent" in the midst of a sexual act, along with another person stating that Assange had lied about whether a condom was in use or not. (I could be wrong--I've only read mainstream news reports.) How many cases of these kinds of things, and of course much, much, worse, do NOT result in international manhunts and extradition? I abhor the behavior if the charges are true, but at the same time, I'm far from convinced that justice for those charges is what is being sought here.
