Saw him a year ago in Denmark - Amager Bio venue. By far the best live guitarist I've ever seen, and he has developed a style of his own at last. Before the Sloe Gin album(2007), he was pretty much a clone of Stevie Ray Vaughan(not a bad role model but...), but he has now matured enough to stand on his own. Highly recommended.
Last week I saw Suzanne Vega in her new intimate incarnation with her and a guitarist who samples him self for the rhythm sections (a trend I like very much). If you like her then support her by buying the new recordings on her own record label.
This week I am going to see Imogen Heap (She is also in on the sampling trend, but this time shes with a band a opposed to last time I saw her, where she was alone...) for the second time - the most innovative singer/songwriter in the electronic field performing atm.
