American society has not grown into something to be proud of in my opinion.

A very short time ago this country had the opportunity to to take two steps - one was forward into possible greatness and the second was backward into a morass of slime and a degenerative move backward. It appears the step chosen will be that of back into the past.

From all research it is now being shown the Tea Party movement is being funded by wealthy people with a vested interest in keeping things going backward. These people have also manipulated this group of people by stirring up all kinds of lies and myths (for example, pushing the claim you will go to jail if you don't have health insurance).

The proof of the ignorance of this group is of that of how many of them actually receive the benefits of a government (medicare, SS, other governmental benefits) while they demand such benefits be cut, but when reminded of what they receive, end up staring into the camera with a blank look on their face before declaring, "well, I didn't mean me."

These people scream about big government but still want to crawl through the key hole of American homes when it comes to homosexuality, a woman's body and what we do in our homes, but seem to be blind to the waste of the defense industry and the waste created by that sacred cow.

Frankly, these people only want government off their backs when it comes to the interests of not themselves, but what they have been manipulated into believing.

Not only that, racial fear is out there both floating beneath conscious thought and right on top. When a black man can declare on national television mere clothing scares the shit out of him because of what it represents in America, when not one terrorist attack on American soil has been carried out by a Muslim wearing the clothing he is afraid of and whole group of people stand up and defend this man for such ignorance, it is clear, we have not taken the right path.

Hell, look at acts of terrorism in this country over the past twenty years. If this man was truly being factual he would be describing white males in American garb as those that scare the shit out him.

So the creation of this Tea Party is clear to me and it's sad, so very sad. But what these fools don't see is that this group of people is actually just the start of the last gasp of white fear in this country. Around 2050 or so, really, not a long time off, it is predicted white people will be in the minority in this country and as I have stated before, I hope people of color treat us better than we did them.
