Herring,

I'm not sure I want to consider small mutations as evidence for what Darwin is suggesting. One would think that with the billions of years the earth has had to collect these various transitional forms they would be found in abundance but they're not there.

People snicker at those of us who choose to believe in Creationism but when it comes down to it I have to wonder which one of us is actually being hoodwinked? Which one of us is making a bigger leap of faith in choosing an explanation for how we came to be?

Peter,

Are you sure that "99.9% of the best minds in science firmly believe in evolution by natural selection"? What percentage of these scientists also believe in a higher power? That would be a more interesting number.

I know that you have difficulty with much of the Old Testament and the barbarism written about there. I do to. I don't know how to convince somebody that there's a God when they're so opposed to the thought so I'm reluctant to even try. I do know that for myself I've felt his presence and sensed his urgings all through my life but I'm also open to him and so maybe that's why.

When Tammy and I began dating it became apparent early on that God had brought us together. I have no doubt whatsoever. Things like what happened to us don't just happen by random chance. I wrote about it a while back in my blog toward the end of this series of writings

I'd also offer you a book suggestion. The author is Gregg Boyd. He offers answers to even your most difficult questions.
