I wasn't surprised by her appeal for equal time in the classroom for instruction in
creationism. I'd ask her why we shouldn't similarly provide an opportunity for those
advocating for a flat earth, or those who shun a heliocentric view of our solar system. She really does represent a significant minority of Americans: shallow, ignorant,
superstitious, and intolerant. Peter T.
