I'm going to back Eric here on Thank You For Smoking, as I thought the writing was pretty sharp there. I don't think it has the power of Network but what it does do I think it gets right. It's more straight ahead comedy than Network was. I did start to write something which Mr. Baerwald inadvertently named "The Right Bomb" that is sort of a cross between Network and The Blues Brothers if they met in a parking lot behind a Taco Bell with baseball bats to beat each other to death while high on methamphetamine. What I can tell you about it is nobody gets off the hook and no one gets out alive.
