As good a description of the disappearance of the middle class as I've ever read.Great imagery!As for Rahm Emanuel, if he becomes a candidate for Chicago's mayor, I will forever be grateful to Daley for deciding not to run again.Emanuel is a contradiction to Obama's political style. Obama may have thought he needed him to get his programs through Congress, but Emanuel rams things through, not persuade them through as Obama does.We elected persuasion, and got the same type of ram Republicans used to convince us to elect persuasion.Chicago's gain is ours.
