The David Barton / Glen Beck Axis of Lies
Has anyone else noticed this person, doing good work? She She debunks Glen Beck's incredible lack of scholarship--of course by pointing out the half-truths, discrepancies, creative editing, and outright lies promulgated by Beck's guru and/or partner in crime, David Barton. Barton is an evangelical with no known credentials in history or scholarship, whose lies depend on his (and Beck's) audience's a) credulity and b)lack of desire to actually look these things up for themselves, in order to spin a revisionist tale of the founding of our country.These people are dangerous, and I'm glad to see someone actively taking them on with a scholar's approach.
