Back when Robertson was making his run at the presidency in the 88 elections, I was going to junior college with his niece (or maybe great-niece). We had some lame assignment where we write about someone we respect, and she had just given a speech about PR. At the break I took the opportunity to tell a joke I'd just then heard about Pat and his political ambitions.
"Pat Roberston says God told him to run for President. When a burning bush tells me to vote for him, I will." (Ritch Shydner)
She got very upset, started crying, and ran out of class. Not sure if this was the whole reason, but she droppped out shortly after this.
