At this point, and at this frequency, I tend to find the occasional SPAM message on this board more amusing than annoying. I think I would prefer to see creative, ironic replies to the spam rather than see it gone altogether.A few years ago I read a very amusing piece of fiction that treated the "queen of Nigeria" hoax as a real thing--you know, the queen (or bank, or other) who wants to place millions of dollars in your bank account if you will just send her a few thousand first? I wish I could locate that right now.I would be very curious to know the route these spammers are taking, that leads them here. I find it a hard path to fathom, but maybe it's not so mysterious.Anyway--I vote for continuing to let new people in, even if it does mean we'll continue to see the occasional spam/ad for porn, viagra, or penis enhancement.
