I've seen some people liken her treatment to that of prisoners at Guantanamo, but this ignores that fact that she was living in Iran legally and was not found on a battlefield. Had the situation been reversed and she were arrested while legally living in the USA, she wouldn't have been at Guantanamo but rather would have been guaranteed due process.
