Man it is so, so cool to have access to you. I never would have dreamed this would be possible
when I was a teenager and listening to this album in 1986. I was thinking about this while taking a
train to work today and it still blows my mind... But I digress. I completely missed the sexual references in the song, thanks for getting me on track with the
meaning of the song. However, who is watching "from above"? Is it a peeping Tom? Are you a Steely Dan fan by any chance. There are a lot of similarities between them and (at least)
Boomtown. Steely Dan have slick arrangements which disarm the listener who (if he is interested) can
be shocked at the lyrical contrast.
