SCAM in the form of Facebook IQ quiz
Perhaps someone will find this information useful:There is a company called FLYCELL that uses Facebook IQ quizzes to scam people into signing up for bogus cell phone "services." The services amount to recurring charges, and it seems the MO is basically that they're hoping people don't notice. (Imagine if you could bill a million people 9.99 per month for nothing.)What they do is ask you first to become a "fan" of a page--in my case it was the "Mafia Wars Hack" page. (I will be happy to explain why I would want to "hack" a game if anyone cares to know.)Then they want you to invite others to become a fan of that page, "and be sure to invite at least half your friends or it won't work."Then they want you to "verify that you're human" by taking one of several possible quizzes, such as "how dumb are you."You take the quiz, and then they say "to see your result, type in your cell phone number & we'll text you a PIN."When you do that, they've got you.This link will give you an idea of what happens next.http://www.xomreviews.com/flycell.comLuckily, my cell provider has already agreed to block & disallow all charges arising from my stupidity in this instance.Be wary.
