"Frank" as in straightforward, and "Rich" as in possessing an abundance of resources. The esteemed NY Times columnist writes so bloody well. He lays out the problems without the usual pundit bluster and BS, and makes it all appear so effortless. He should have ditched film and theater criticism earlier than he did. Then again, maybe that was the perfect place for him to hone his skills. Thanks for sharing as I probably wasn't going to get to my on-line NYT today. I sure hope the president gets around to reading it. Peter T.
