Amen... I have pretty much given up on live gigs for this reason. Also, my wife and I haven't set foot in a movie house/cinema (I still remember it being called BIOSCOPE) since 2002, when we saw Return Of The King on the big screen. People just do not have respect for personal space or enjoyment anymore.
