I hope so, Heathcliffe, I really do.  But it’s heavy. And it weighs on them, the dualism. The white collar criminals rising as the cream, the workin’ man eatin’ spit & layin claim to pride & unadorned perseverance; but not like before when there was still a notion of an honest work ethic and family unity. This is a narcissistic kind of heartless heart being fashioned one clouded consciousness at a time …or en masse.

& it shakes me up a bit. I mean, here in the Leukemia trenches, we’ve seen the very best of humanity --- it does still exist, don’t doubt it. & so there’s a gauge for measuring how our eldest (college student, athlete, musician, artist, writer, son, youth) has somehow been effectively disenfranchised in his mind, uncannily-converted-to-some-troubling-extent into a VERY neutral-moral nihilistic sort of egotistical mindset all up on the surface & in your face...while struggling with a nurtured root concept of love for life and humanity down deep beneath --- that essence of warm humanity only surfacing after something heavy occurs. We are on it, staying abreast of the trend, but it’s a wearying sort of paradigm shift for us.

Again, I hope..yearn…that you are correct.
