Sadly it explains a lot about the psyche of the well-educated class in the US and their willingness to be dominated by other alpha-males. It also explains why the are so few people with balls in your government/bureaucracy ;-) -

Seriously I've always thought that the movie versions were kinda exaggerated, but your story clearly demonstrates that it is just a poor imitation of the dastardly deeds of the real thing. Oh Well. :-) At least you have a good taste in music.
